Alpha Sign Shop is a small family-owned business located in rural central Alabama. It is operated by Rob Stuart with the help of his wife, Penny, and their son, Charles. Rob first became interested in working with wood at a young age. Rob spent many hours watching his grandfather, a woodwork artisan, build beautiful and functional pieces. 
 In his adult years Rob continued to pursue his interest in woodwork as a hobby while working his "real" job to pay the bills. As time went on, he saw how much technology had changed in the workworking industry. Something that would have taken his grandfather hours to layout and cut could now be done with a computer and an electric router in minutes. 

Rob took his love for woodworking and computer design and merged the two to start building high quality signs. He soon learned that there was a niche market for mid-size high quality, hand painted, carved signs which were competitively priced. Thus, Alpha Sign Shop was born.

Alpha Sign specializes in signs for small commercial and residential use. They leave the jumbo commercial signs to the big boys. They also leave the inexpensive stencil, spray painted, assembly line signs to the importers. They can’t (nor do we want to) compete with them on price. Quality and customer satisfaction is Alpha Sign Shop’s number one priority.
