The words, numbers or initials are cut out using a computer precision machine. The sign measures 7” high and a maximum of 28” wide, depending on number of characters. These signs are available in two typefaces and multiple finish options. They can either be wall mounted on stood on a table, counter or other flat surface.

These signs are provided fully finished, front and back.

If painted, the process starts with a high quality build up primer and is finished with two coats of a professional semi-gloss paint in your choice of available colors.

If stained, the process starts with the application of an oil based stain that is color matched to the available stain color you select. It is then coated with multiple coats of polyurethane and sanded between coats to ensure a smooth end product.

After we receive your order, will we create a proof/preview for your sign within 1-3 business days. We will not begin production until we receive approval of the proof.

Material:
Baltic Birch. Baltic Birch is comprised of multiple thin layers of Birch with alternating grain to provide sturdiness and prevent the wood from warping. It is not recommended for use in outdoor locations where it will be subjected to rain, ice, or snow. It can be used in an outside covered or protective environment such as a covered porch.

Unfinished: Will be lightly sanded and ready for customer to add finish of their choice

Stained Wood Disclaimer: Each piece of wood is unique and takes on each stain differently. The finish may vary slightly in shade from pictures listed. In addition, the wood may include natural wood imperfections. These only add to the uniqueness of hand-crafted items. Our signs are handmade and hand-painted and are not mass produced. Therefore, no two signs are 100% identical.

Mounting Options:
While it is certainly fine to drill through the front of these signs to install mounting screws, we prefer a rear mount option to avoid compromising the esthetics of your sign. We offer rear mount options to suit your needs. Please see our photos for examples of each of these options.

• Non Removable Two-Sided Tape – This is not your normal big box store two sided tape. It is designed for long term outdoor use in all elements as well as permanent indoor use. It will securely hold your sign on a variety of smooth surfaces such as painted walls, finished wood (painted or varnished shiplap, or doors), painted concrete cinder block, laminate, glass, tile, metal. It should not be used on brick or other porous surfaces.

• Semi-permanent Two-Sided Tape - This option is for inside use only. It consists of two part, two sided tape that fasten together. This allows for slight adjustment when placing the letters on the wall, door, etc. When time to redecorate, the two sided tape can also be removed from most surfaces without damage requiring repainting or wall repair.

• Plaque Standing Bracket – Your sign will come with two metal brackets attached to the back of the sign to allow it to stand upright on a flat surface such as a counter top or dresser.
